"HAPAG NG PAG-ASA"

The title above was one of the best painting i ever hadhich gives me a lot of realization about life on how to struggle and survive in relation with other people. The painting has diff. scenarios represented by different character of a child who takeir journey of life in happiness and in sadness.

We all know that our country was no longer a healthy Economy where many people who have suffered in crisis. Each children that we found in the painting has a different story of struggle and hardship to their lives but despites of everything they still have that guts to smile when they were seen by many people.

One of the character in the painting was "NENE" who become a big part of my life and who helps me to realized on how lucky i am for having my own family. Nene lives on her simple way, she earned a living through cleaning the "nitsyo" of other people who passed away and not related to her. There are times that she was given a chance to eat imported goods give by her customers or the family of the person inside the "nitsyo", but then what Nene did? Even if she was so hungry but she still to give those foods to her other companions whoa also try to survive and struggle to their living.

The story of the twelve children represented in the painting was the evidence or the fact that Philippine country suffers from poverty. Where only those big businessmen experienced a healthy economy and progress to their living.

As Businesses progressing many of people also suffers that's why in every places we see there are people who are "taong-grasa."

In the business world centavo matters a lot because it can gain millions and the existence of those kind of individual can affect the market because they are part of the macroeconomics. If the income is less of course it constitute lower purchasing power.

The short movie convey a message of reality. The story of the twelve children are just mere representation of the crisis we felt. Joey Velasco painted the "HAPAG ng PAG-ASA" because he wanted to open the eyes of the government as well as the people that there are those kind of individual in countryside who needs care and protection.

Media is the means of communication accdg. to Fr. Christian. The use of radio, newspapers, magazines and televesions are the facts that there is media arround the world. The prescence of media could change the life style of the people that is unusual than before. It helps the particular place to be converted from rural then change into urban.

Industrialization is one that we might achieve thru having a media as what media is concerned.
People may take advantage of it but on the other side we don't realized of what really is the effect of media to our lives. Although media could be used for communication but how about those informations we have and learned from media? Is it helpful?or can help our economy healthy or progress? maybe in some other point but to generalized Media plays a vital role for us to be aware of everything but those things we learned from media affects our daily living, habits and attitudes or the so called our Social Norms.

However it gives a lot of information we need. It also provide advocacy for both bus. & social concerns. This may include public relations, political com., propaganda, and in the aspects of advertising and mktg. Generally for youth, media is used for entertainment specially thru acting, music, and sports where they could get more informations.

Now, because of the improvement of this, youth also are making use of the video and computer games. This was just for the purpose of entertainment but it creates disadvantages as to their education. Specifically, the students are influence enough that they become addicted too much on the computer games offered by media through computer. Many of them also trying to communicate their friends arround the world thru chatting but what is the effect now?which is something that we have to be alarmed. Cellphones and Internet are just simple but yet a major examples of media. Now a days they are use in many purposes such us for bus. transactions and different affairs but sad to say many people become so affected as the presence of media exist.
